Four Course Winemaker’s Dinner and Silent Auction
Yakima Valley Vintners, YVCC’s teaching winery, is located on the YVCC Grandview Campus. The facility offers students studying in the college’s Vineyard & Winery Technology Program the opportunity for hands-on technical training in the area of viticulture and enology.
This year, the annual Grape to Glass Gala will include a Winemaker’s Dinner paired with Yakima Valley Vintners’ wines, a silent auction and dancing. Proceeds will benefit student scholarships for the Vineyard & Winery Technology Program.
Several students from the Vineyard & Winery Technology Program have started their own wineries since taking classes at YVCC. Past students David Volmut, owner of Wind Rose Cellars in Sequim and Carly Faulk, owner of C & C Vintage Cellars in Prosser, will be showcased during this year’s event.
