Now open Fridays from 3:30-6pm and Saturdays from 11:30-5:30pm.

Yakima Valley Vintners is busy managing the wines made from the 2011 year’s harvest. It looks like the 2011 will be another great year for wines in the Yakima Valley, especially for Merlot.

Yakima Valley Vintners released what is destined to become the next cult wine from the Yakima Valley in Washington. During the 2008 Spring Barrel Tasting, the students of the Vineyard & Winery Technology Program released their inaugural bottling. Those same wines have now become award winners and are nearly all sold out! The good news is more award winners have followed the inagural year and keep our tasting room fully stocked with 2008, 2009 and 2010 vintages.

For more information on the Yakima Valley Community College Vineyard and Winery Technology Programs, please visit www.yvcc.edu/wine
