Harvest for 2009 is in full swing
The 2009 wine making season is in full swing here in Grandview.
Our first 2009 vintage, a wonderfully dark Syrah, has completed its initial fermentation and was pressed last night. Our second vintage of Primitivo was crushed earlier this week and is just beginning initial fermentation. Students in the program have been busy learning to process the fruit being brought in this fall and are picking things up really quickly.
We will keep you posted on our progress for this season’s harvest and in the mean time you can check out our wines that have been released from past seasons in the Wine Shop . And remember, our Grandview Tasting room is open every Friday from 3:30 to 6:00 pm.
Cheers!
